Transportation Planning

Transportation planning must involve stage development of transportation infrastructure with the planning task being directed from whole to part. The CRAPHTS Consultants (I) Pvt. Ltd. have enough in-house capacities to undertake all activities ranging from development of data base to modeling and preparation of long term comprehensive transportation plans including planning of Mass Rapid Transit Systems. Special care is of course, taken to maintain the heritage and character of the city or town under study. One of the land mark studies on comprehensive transportation planning successfully completed by the CRAPHTS was preparation of comprehensive traffic and transportation plan (including MRTS options) for Chandigarh complex (Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali). It has also successfully carried out comprehensive traffic studies for Raipur urban area – the new capital of the state of Chhattisgarh.
